What it is
An LLM is a neural network trained on large amounts of text to predict the next piece of text. From that one skill it can answer questions, summarize, translate and write code. It does not look facts up by itself: it generates the most likely continuation based on what it learned and what you give it.
Example
Asked to summarize a 20-page contract, an LLM produces a short overview in seconds — useful, but worth checking against the source.
What can go wrong
Answers can sound confident and still be wrong. Anything you send may be stored or used by the provider, depending on its terms.
How to secure it
Choose providers with clear data terms (ideally no retention and no training on your data), keep sensitive data out unless the setup allows it, and verify important answers against sources.
In Obsigen
Obsigen does not rely on a single LLM: for every task, Obsigen GRID selects the right models, run by providers in the EEA. About Obsigen AI
